About Us
AM Training Services Ltd formed in 2003, and incorporated in 2004. During 2003, we were approved by the Health & Safety Executive for the purpose of first aid training. This meant we were able to issue our own certificates for First Aid at Work courses. In the same year, we were also approved by the Pre-School Learning Alliance and National Child Minding Associations for our
Paediatric First Aid courses.
2004 saw us achieve ISO 9001:2000 quality certification from the International Standards Organisation. The cost of renewal has prohibited us registering again this year but we still use this stringent management and 'back up' systems. In
2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 we were finalists in the Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards. We have also written numerous editorials for various business publications. As first aid professionals, we have taught in
numerous establishments including large national companies, SME's, NHS Trusts, Councils, and schools and colleges not just in the South of England but all over the UK. |
Andy Ormston SRPara Cert Ed Dip PCS
Having joined the Royal Air Force as a Medic straight from school, Andy benefited from the military training and experience of eleven years in various roles. These included working as a Medic in some of the largest medical centres in the RAF, and deployment worldwide as a Field Medic. In 1996, he left the RAF to pursue a career in the NHS Ambulance Service where he qualified as a Paramedic, and then a Paramedic Training Officer working in both Wiltshire and Royal Berkshire
Ambulance Services. Andy is MD of the company and has been instrumental in applying and maintaining high standards in all aspects of the company.
We
have trainers and clinical staff across the UK all of whom are
trained to a very high standard.
